    • Forêt de l'Aigle/Eagle Forest Aerial Trail  - The Aerial Trek is a 2.5 hour guided pedestrian excursion covering approximately twenty suspended footbridges on the aerial path which varies from 6 to 20 m in height. All equipment (harness) is provided. The Aerofil is a 1 km zip-line course featuring 10 long zip-lines reaching 150 m in length and 12 metres in height. Unique in its kind throughout Québec, this adventure involves gliding from tree to tree while overlooking the Hibou River without ever touching the ground

    • Horseback Riding - The Gatineau Hills Equestrian Centre is located in the village of Kazabazua. Amble along and enjoy the scenery along an abandoned railway line, through beautiful wooded areas, open fields and beside lakes and streams. Trail rides are $20/hr or $50/half day. Call 819 467-2589 for trail rides and 819 467-3333 for riding lessons or day camp reservations
    • Le Sommet Golf Club - Messines, Quebec - Executive-style golf course featuring four holes (Par 4) and five holes (Par 3). Since its owner is a forest engineer, all aspects of the course are in perfect harmony with nature. An interesting challenge for all levels of players.
    • Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg - Just 13 kms past the town of Messines, in Maniwaki (Quebec). Learn about Algonquin (native North-American Indian) culture first-hand in an authentic setting. Interact with Anishinabe People while you sit in on a demonstration of tanning hides or making birch bark canoes, snowshoes, drums and other aboriginal crafts. Join in with dancers (by reservation only) and then listen to generation-old stories in an authentic pikogan (or Wigwam). The 90-minute visit wraps up with a chance for everyone to taste bannock (aboriginal bread) and maple syrup.
    • Mijocama Outfitter - Located on tiny Giles Lake in Gracefield, Quebec. Offers year-round activities for everyone: Hiking, mountain-biking, sugar bush parties, fishing, canoeing/kayaking, hunting, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dogsled rides, and even helicopter rides!
    • Mont Cascades - A family activity centre located just a few kms south of our villas. Skiers enjoy the hills in winter time and in the summer time enjoy the waterslides of the aquatic park.
    • Mont Ste-Marie Golf - Magnificent, renowned 18-hole golf course, located in Lac Ste. Marie
    • Mont Ste-Marie Skiing - the biggest ski centre in the Outaouais, at an altitude of more then 1200 feet and 24 hills, just a few kms south of our villas in Lac Ste. Marie

    • Route des Draveurs - Experience life through the eyes of the locals, both past and present, by touring the Raftsmen Road (Route des draveurs). Extending north to south, between La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve and the Municipality of Messines, this historical tour consists of a number of attractions. Get to better know our territory by taking a walking tour along well-maintained footpaths, located at each of these sites. All feature interpretive material. In Lytton, a picnic area is provided at the waterfalls of Quinn’s Creek.
    • TransCanada Trail - Gatineau Valley Linear Park Bicycle Trail - The trail follows an abondoned rail line along the Gatineau River for about 70 km from about 20 km north of Wakefield to Maniwaki. Towns along the trail: Wakefield, Low, Gracefield, Messines, Maniwaki. Towns from Low to Maniwaki are in the MRC de la Vallée de la Gatineau.
